The two line graphs illustrate the performance of a railway business by the proportion of cancellation and running late trains in 2 months from October to November in 2008.

Overall, the percentage of delayed and cancelled trains experienced many fluctuations throughout the given period. In addition, the highest percentage of cancelled train trips was witnessed in October, while the figure for late trains hit low points from late October to early November.

In the first week of October, the percentage of late trains stayed at 20% before growing up to 30% in the following week. Then, it saw a sharp fall to 10% in the third week and by another 5% in the final week. In contrast, more than half of the trains were late during the second week of November, followed by a moderate drop to 40% in week 3.

Although there was only 1% of all trains cancelled at the beginning of the period, this figure reached the peak of 7% in the second week of October, then decreased back to the initial point after a week. After that, it fluctuated between 1% and 3% before sharply increasing to 5% in week 2 of November. Eventually, this figure fell slightly to 4% in the final week.
