Sample
Where is it? | The first thing that comes to my mind when planning a trip is picking out a destination. Today I am going to talk about my recent vacation at Dalat – which is also called The valley of love. |
What is it famous for? | Dalat is well-known for its cooling weather and picturesque view. While many cities in our country have tropical temperatures, the valley of love is distinct because of its temperate climate. It’s always cold in the morning and night and cozy in the afternoon, therefore the city brings tourists a unique experience compared to other locations in Vietnam. Additionally, since Da lat is a hill city, visitors will be enthralled by the beauty of terraced fields combined with mist in the morning. |
How to travel there? | To get to Dalat, you can choose between traveling by coach or by plane. A closer look of the city’s suburb will be obtained by going there by coach and a general view from above will be served by traveling by plane. |
How do you feel when you go there? | My short vacation on Dalat was outstanding, the fact that I have never experienced such exclusive weather and scenery makes the trip more meaningful and helped me release all the stress I had. |
IELTS Speaking part 3
1. Do tourists like to travel to historical or modern places?
Compared to society nowadays’ increasing development in technology, modern places have become more and more common. This leads to the fact that tourists will be more likely to choose to travel to historical tourist attractions. People love to visit sites of historical significance because those places are incredibly beautiful and breathtaking. For the most part, people can gain a deeper understanding of a country’s history by visiting museums, monuments and ancient sites
2. What do tourists often do when traveling?
The most common thing tourists want to do when they are visiting new places is certainly to explore the local cultures and experience life of the natives. And by taking pictures of the places they visit and the people they meet, tourists can keep the memory of the journeys and show their friends and family later.
3. What are the disadvantages when attracting tourists?
While attracting tourists can stimulate the country’s economy, it also has some drawbacks such as environmental pollution caused by visitors’ negligence, exploitation of local culture, lack of job security since the season that has the highest number of tourists only lasts for a short period.
