Sample questions & answers – Part 1
– Have you ever been to any other countries?
Yes, I have. I’ve been to a few other countries in Europe and Asia. But out of all the places I’ve been, my favorite is still Japan.
– What do you like about other countries?
I like that there are so many different cultures to experience. I also like trying new food and seeing new sights.
– Do you think people from other countries are different from people in your country?
Yes, I do think that people from other countries are different from people in my country. I think that each culture has its own unique way of doing things, and that’s something I really enjoy about traveling.
Sample questions & answers – Part 2
Question: Describe a country that you would like to visit. You should say:
– which country this is
– what you know about it
– what you would like to do there
– and explain why you would like to visit this country.
– what you know about it
– what you would like to do there
– and explain why you would like to visit this country.
Answer:
There are so many countries that I want to visit, but if I had to choose one, I think it would be Japan.
I don’t know a lot about Japanese culture, but what I do know, I really love. For example, I love the idea of “omotenashi,” which is the concept of selfless hospitality. And of course, the food looks absolutely amazing. I’m a huge fan of sushi, so Japan would definitely be a paradise for me!
In terms of things to do, I would love to visit Tokyo and explore all the different neighborhoods. I’ve heard that each one has its own unique atmosphere, and I would love to experience that. I would also like to visit some of the temples and shrines, and just soak up as much of the culture as possible.
Overall, I think Japan is a really fascinating country, and I can’t wait to visit it one day.
Sample questions & answers – Part 3
– What are some of the things you would like to know about a foreign country before visiting it?
There are a few things I would like to know about a foreign country before visiting it. Firstly, I would want to know what the culture is like and what the people are generally like.
I would also want to find out about the food – what dishes are popular and whether there are any that I should avoid. Additionally, I would want to research the customs and traditions of the country, so that I can be respectful when I’m there.
Lastly, I would want to look into the practicalities of visiting, such as visa requirements and where to stay.
– What do you think is the best way to learn about a foreign country?
I think the best way to learn about a foreign country is to visit it. There’s no better way to experience the culture and the people than to actually be there.
Of course, that’s not always possible, so another good way to learn about a foreign country is to speak to somebody who has been there. They can tell you about their experiences and what they liked and didn’t like about the place.
– Do you think it’s necessary to learn about a foreign country before visiting it?
I don’t think it’s necessary to learn about a foreign country before visiting it, but I do think it’s beneficial. If you know something about the culture and the customs beforehand, then you’re likely to have a more enjoyable and respectful trip.
Plus, if you’re aware of the language barrier, you can make an effort to learn some key phrases before you go. This will help you to communicate with the locals and make your trip all the more memorable.

– Do you want to have children someday?
Yes, I definitely want to have children someday. I can’t imagine my life without them.
– Do you think having children is a lot of work?
Yes, I do think that having children is a lot of work. But it’s worth it because they’re such a joy to be around. Plus, it’s nice to know that you’re responsible for another human being and that you can help them grow and learn.
Sample questions & answers – Part 2
Question: Describe a time when you were very proud of a child. You should say:
– who this child is
– what they did
– how you felt about it
– and explain why you were proud of them.
– what they did
– how you felt about it
– and explain why you were proud of them.
Answer:
My nephew is only four years old, but he’s already so smart and accomplished! He can read and write in both English and Vietnamese, and he’s even starting to learn Mandarin.
I’m really proud of him because he’s just a little kid, but he’s already ahead of most adults in terms of language skills. It’s amazing to see how much he has progressed in such a short amount of time.
In addition, my nephew is always so well-behaved, even when he’s around other adults. He always says please and thank you, and he knows how to be respectful. I think he’s just a really great kid, and I’m so proud of him!
Sample questions & answers – Part 3
– How important do you think it is for parents to spend time with their children?
I think it’s very important for parents to spend time with their children. When parents take the time to talk to their kids, listen to them and engage in activities with them, it strengthens the parent-child bond.
Plus, it gives children a chance to feel valued and loved, and teaches them that their family is there for them – no matter what.
– What are some of the things you like doing with your own children (if you have any)?
There are many things I like doing with my own children. I enjoy spending time outdoors with them, going for walks or playing at the park.
I also like reading books and telling stories with them, or helping them with their homework. And sometimes, we just like to sit and chat – about their day, their thoughts and feelings or anything else they want to talk about.
– Do you think it’s better for children to grow up in the city or in the countryside?
There are pros and cons to both living in the city and living in the countryside. I think it ultimately comes down to what suits the individual child best.
Some children might prefer the excitement of city life, with its many sights and sounds. Others might prefer the slower pace of life in the countryside, where they can be closer to nature.
It really depends on the child’s personality and preferences. Whichever environment they feel most comfortable in is likely to be the best place for them to grow up.

– Do you think magazines are a good source of information?

– what type of magazine it is
– how often you read it

I’ve learned so much about the world from reading this magazine, and it’s just really enjoyable to flip through the pages and see all the different places that exist out there.
It’s also nice to take a break from reading about all the negative things happening in the world. National Geographic always has a positive message, and it’s just really uplifting to read. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to anyone who’s looking for an interesting and informative magazine.
Sample questions & answers – Part 3
– What kind of things do you usually read about in magazines?
There are a few different types of magazines that I like to read. I enjoy reading about current affairs, politics and world news in magazines such as The Economist and New Scientist.
I also like reading lifestyle magazines such as Cosmopolitan and Men’s Health, which feature articles on topics such as health, fitness, fashion and relationships.
And then there are the more niche magazines that I like to read from time to time, such as photography magazines or travel magazines.
– What do you think makes a good magazine?
I think a good magazine is one that is well-written, informative and interesting. It should also be visually appealing, with high-quality photos and layout.
Plus, I think it’s important for a magazine to have a clear focus or theme. For example, if it’s a lifestyle magazine, all the content should be related to that topic in some way.
– Do you think magazines will still be popular in the future?
I believe that magazines will still be popular in the future, but I think they will have to change in order to compete with other forms of media.
For example, I think we’ll see more interactive and digital magazines, as well as magazines that are specifically designed for mobile devices.
So while the format might change, I think people will still enjoy reading magazines – as long as they’re able to offer something unique and interesting.

Yes, I do think that some computer games can be addictive. But I also think that it’s possible to moderate your gaming habits and still enjoy playing them. So it really depends on the person.
Sample questions & answers – Part 2
Question: Describe a computer game that you like to play. You should say:
– what the game is
– how you play it
– what you like about it
– and explain why you enjoy playing it.
– how you play it
– what you like about it
– and explain why you enjoy playing it.
Answer:
My all-time favorite computer game is “World of Warcraft.” It’s an online role-playing game, set in a medieval fantasy world. You create a character and go on quests, fight monsters and earn gold. There’s also a huge social aspect to the game, because you can meet other players from all over the world and form guilds (teams) with them.
I love “World of Warcraft” because it’s just so much fun. I’m really into the whole idea of medieval fantasy, so I love being able to explore this world and fight these creatures. And it’s just a great way to relax after a long day. I usually play for about an hour or two every night.
I also really enjoy the social aspect of the game. I’ve made some great friends through “World of Warcraft,” and it’s always fun to team up with them and take on new challenges. Overall, it’s just a great game that I never get tired of playing.
Sample questions & answers – Part 3
– Do you think playing computer games is a good way to relax?
I think it depends on the person. Some people might find that playing a computer game is a great way to relax, while others might get more stressed out by it. It really varies from person to person. Personally, I find that playing a relaxing game like Tetris or Solitaire is a good way to unwind after a long day.
– Do you think playing computer games is good for children?
Again, I think it depends on the child. Some children might find that playing computer games helps them to relax and de-stress, while others might get more agitated by it. It really varies from child to child. However, I do think that it’s important for children to limit their screen time and make sure they’re getting enough physical activity as well. Too much screen time can be bad for children’s health, both mental and physical.
– What are the advantages and disadvantages of playing computer games?
Some advantages of playing computer games might be that it can help to relieve stress, it can improve problem-solving skills and it can be a fun way to socialize with friends. Some disadvantages of playing computer games might be that it can lead to addiction, it can cause eye strain and it can lead to less physical activity. That said, it really varies from person to person. It’s important to find a balance that works for you.

I went to a small private high school in Ho Chi Minh City, and I absolutely loved it. I was a pretty good student – I got straight A’s in all my classes. But more than that, I was really involved in extracurricular activities. I was on the debate team, the yearbook committee, and I even started my own environmental club.

I believe that high school is important because it gives students a chance to learn about a variety of subjects and to develop their critical thinking skills. Additionally, high school can be a time for students to make new friends and discover more about themselves. Some of the best things about high school, in my opinion, are the opportunities to learn new things and to meet new people. I also like that high school can be a time for students to discover more about who they are and what they’re interested in.
As for the worst things, I would say that the competitive pressure can be tough to deal with, and sometimes the workload can be overwhelming. Additionally, high school can be a bit of a bubble – it’s easy to get caught up in drama and forget about the outside world.
– What advice would you give to somebody who is starting high school?
My advice for somebody starting high school would be to try and stay open-minded. It can be easy to get caught up in your own little world, but it’s important to remember that there are other people out there with different perspectives and experiences.
Also, I would say to take advantage of the opportunities that high school offers – whether it’s joining a club or taking an interesting course. And lastly, don’t forget to have fun! High school is a time for making memories and discovering more about yourself, so enjoy it!
