– Yếu tố về việc nâng cấp chất lượng và chi phí bảo trì.
+ Các phương tiện công cộng thường phải di chuyển trên một đoạn đường từ trung bình đến dài mỗi ngày.
=> Và với sự vận hành liên tục mỗi ngày như vậy thì lâu dần, chất lượng của các phương tiện này sẽ bị giảm xuống => người chủ phải nâng cấp và bảo trì để đảm bảo sự an toàn cho hành khách.
– Doanh thu của các phương tiện công cộng giảm.
+ Ngày nay thì hầu hết mọi người đều có phương tiện cá nhân.
=> Doanh thu bị giảm nên bắt buộc để duy trì hoạt động thì giá vé của các phương tiện công cộng phải tăng lên.

How can this problem be solved?
– Hỗ trợ của chính phủ.
+ Chính phủ nên chi một phần nhỏ để hỗ trợ trong công tác bảo dưỡng các phương tiện công cộng. -> Giảm gánh nặng về chi phí cho các dịch vụ phương tiện công cộng.
– Tăng doanh thu từ nhiều cách.
+ Tìm kiếm các nguồn doanh thu thay thế. Các dịch vụ phương tiện công cộng nên tìm kiếm thêm những nguồn đầu tư từ bên ngoài. Chẳng hạn như phối hợp hợp tác, quảng cáo để có thêm nguồn doanh thu.

These days, the issue of transportation is gaining traction among commuters. Meanwhile, the price of mass transit systems has been on the increase recently. This essay will shed light on some compelling reasons and also suggest some viable solutions to tackle this issue.
Initially, part of the revenue of this service will be ploughed back into maintenance and upgrade fees. As a matter of fact, in order to meet the demand of customers, those kinds of transportation are required to operate fully day by day with thousands of kilometers. This would lead to the deterioration of the machines and facilities. Hence, public transport providers have to allot their money to assure the quality of vehicles and the safety of their customers. Additionally, while the expenditures are gradually inflated, the profit is continuously declining. This is because the bulk of people give precedence to their private vehicles in lieu of public ones. Consequently, public transportation providers are forced to raise the price to cover these expenses.
Notwithstanding, there are still some feasible measures that should be implemented to remedy the mentioned problem. First, the government had better divert more money to support the owners of the mass transit system. When receiving economic assistance, the owners of this mode of transportation will no longer solely bear the financial burden. Second, the revenue which is the key to lowering the prices should be earned from alternative sources. The public transport providers are highly recommended to build partnerships with many relevant businesses by helping them advertise their brands. This could help to offset the cost of maintaining and operating their vehicles and ultimately reduce the prices for users.
In conclusion, the increase in public transportation fares derives from the high maintenance expenses with low profit. Still, that issue would be tackled if the mentioned measures are put into force.
