INTRODUCTION:

Bối cảnh: công nghệ và y tế phát triển → con người quan tâm đến sức khoẻ hơn → tăng dân số già
Thesis statement: cả 2 phe đều tương đương nhau

BODY PARAGRAPH 1:

Dân số già sinh ra gánh nặng về kinh tế

để đảm bảo dịch vụ chăm sóc tốt cho ng lớn tuổi → nhà nước chuyển hướng đầu tư của các ngành trọng điểm khác vào dịch vụ sức khỏe
lương hưu → nhà nước phải thu một khoản thuế nhỏ để bù vào

BODY PARAGRAPH 2:

Giá trị người lớn tuổi mang lại

Có kinh nghiệm → hướng dẫn, định hướng, đưa lời khuyên cho người trẻ ở nhiều khía cạnh cuộc sống → Ví dụ trong công việc
Lưu giữ và bảo tồn những giá trị lịch sử và truyền thông lâu đời → VD: các ngành thủ công mỹ nghệ truyền thống của VN nếu ko có được người lớn tuổi truyền lại sẽ trở nên mai một

CONCLUSION: Khẳng định lại quan điểm: Mặc dù có gánh nặng kinh tế, nhưng vẫn mang lại giá trị quý báu về mặt văn hoá và tri thức cho thế hệ sau

2/ ESSAY

Thanks to the advancements in technology and healthcare, individuals are heading toward a healthier and more fulfilling lifestyle, leading to the growth in the aging population. Whereas some believe this phenomenon imposes more financial burdens upon the government, others argue that society still benefits from it. I suppose there is an equivalence between both sides.

On the one hand, the greater the number of senior citizens is, the more pressure the national budget has to endure. Firstly, the government must consistently provide considerable social welfare to ensure essential services for their retirement. The most important of these is the healthcare aspect, which requires an adequate number of nursing personnel, medicine, and modern facilities to ensure a quality system for those with deteriorating health. If the aging population keeps growing, there might be a lack of sufficient funds to allocate for the system; therefore, resources have to be diverted from other important fields to strengthen it, thereby affecting the economic development of the nation.

Despite the aforementioned drawbacks, it would be a mistake to overlook the contribution made by senior citizens to the community. With the accumulated wisdom, they can orient younger generations and provide problem-solving advice in different situations. In fact, It is not uncommon to witness the success of many companies driven by consultations provided by experienced senior advisors behind the scenes. What is more, many traditions and deep-rooted virtues can be better preserved thanks to them. In Vietnam, were it not for the experience and the love for the traditional culture of the seniors, some handicraft jobs like pottery making, bamboo mat making, or Dong Ho folk wood carvings may have gradually faded into obscurity.

To sum up, this demographic trend has both merits and drawbacks. In spite of the tensed financial burden on the nation in an effort to secure their well-being, they can still indirectly preserve many precious national traditions, while conveying valuable experience and guidance, which can be a treasure for the young to obtain and preserve.
