Part 2: Describe a trip you would like to make again

| Introduction | Frankly speaking, I would consider myself a person who usually gets itchy feet. That’s why for the better part of my life, I have travelled to a lot of places. But upon hearing this question, the trip that immediately springs to mind is my trip to Phu Quy island, which I really want to go there once again. |
| When you visited it | So if I’m not mistaken, I first went there 2 years ago, in 2023. At that time, I had just finished my examination with flying colors, so I decided to reward myself with a trip to Phu Quy. You know, after 3 days staying there, I promised that in the future, I would definitely go back there. |
| Reason 1 | And the first reason why PQ left such a strong impression on me was because of the scenery there. To be more specific, when I took my first step there, I was really taken aback by the crystal clear water with such harmonious weather. I have to say that the beach on that island would be one of the most beautiful beaches that I have ever been to. I don’t want to exaggerate it but staying in this place just truly brought me a real sense of satisfaction and tranquility. I even had a plan to spend a month living there. |
| Reason 2 | But that’s not the only reason why I want to make the trip again, it is also because of the living expenses here. I have to admit that living in PQ island is really cheap, just like living in my hometown. So as far as I can remember, the cost for renting a house there was just 3 million VND per month, which was 3 times cheaper than renting in HCM. Also, the food and entertainment centers there are affordable as well. I think with around 5 million VND, people can live comfortably in PQ for a month. |
| How/Future | So all in all, I really love PQ. And definitely next summer, I will buy a ticket to go there and I think maybe next time, I will ask my friends to go with me. |
Part 3:
1/ Why do people like travelling?
Based on my observation, this could be attributed to a host of reasons. For one thing, people would love to go travelling because it allows them to unwind and recharge their batteries. I mean after a long period of working or studying, most people would feel mentally exhausted so going to a new place to enjoy the beauty of the scenery or joining some new activities would allow them to get rid of the hectic pace of life. For another thing, travelling is also a good way for people to enlighten their minds about different things. For example, if people go to some historical heritage sites, they will be able to know more about the history of that place. And for those who love to explore new things, this reason really motivates them to travel more often.
2/ What should we prepare before a trip?
From my perspective, there are several things that people need to prepare carefully before going on a trip. The first thing is definitely clothes. I mean it’s a must-have thing on every trip. People should choose the suitable clothes depending on the type of location that they are going to. For example if they go to a mountainous area, they should choose lightweight and packable clothes, or if it’s cold weather, they should pack warm clothes to fully protect themself. The second thing is definitely cash. I do acknowledge that these days, online transactions are really popular but it is by no means that it is used in all places. So bringing some cash would be more convenient for them, especially when they cannot make online transfers.
3/ Why do some people prefer to travel in their own country rather than going abroad?
I think there are some reasons but the most typical one is due to the budget. Well, obviously travelling abroad is really expensive, since people have to pay for the flight ticket and also the accommodation in other countries. But the problem is due to the currency value difference, those costs are even more exorbitant in foreign countries. Meanwhile, traveling domestically is much more economical. That’s why I think people would normally lean towards traveling in their country.
