Some people think that childcare centers provide the best services for children of preschool age. Other working parents think that family members such as grandparents will be better carers for their kids. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Cách làm của 2 dạng đề này khác nhau nhé.

𝗗𝗮̣𝗻𝗴 𝟭: bạn không nên dùng những từ biểu thị ý kiến cá nhân vào bất cứ đoạn nào trong bài viết.

𝗗𝗮̣𝗻𝗴 𝟮: bày tỏ ý kiến ở phần Introduction, bạn nghĩ advantages > disadvantages hay ngược lại. Nhắc lại ý kiến một lần nữa ở phần Conclusion.

Đề thi trên thuộc dạng 2, có nêu quan điểm cá nhân

𝗖𝗮̂́𝘂 𝘁𝗿𝘂́𝗰 𝗯𝗮̀𝗶 𝘃𝗶𝗲̂́𝘁:

A/ Đoạn 1: Introduction

Paraphrase đề bài. Đề cập vấn đề có cả ưu và nhược điểm. Nêu quan nghiêng về bên nào hơn (advantages hay disadvantages)

B/ Đoạn 2: Phân tích advantages. Đưa luận cứ chứng minh.

C/ Đoạn 3: Phân tích disadvantages. Đưa luận cứ chứng minh.

D/ Đoạn 4: Conclusion.

Nhắc lại gắn gọn ưu/nhược điểm của vấn đề và quan điểm cá nhân.

2. Bài mẫu và từ vựng

2.1 Bài mẫu

Nowadays, it is becoming more and more common for parents to send their preschool children to childcare centers. Other parents, however, still think that their children should be raised at home. In this essay, I will discuss both sides of the argument before giving my opinion.

First of all, for some parents, the house seems to be a suitable place for parents to raise their preschool children. At home, children can be taken care of by their family members. It is said that blood is thicker than water, and therefore children can receive the best care from those members. However, not all families have members who can stay at home to take care of the children, such as their grandparents. As a result, many families cannot keep children at home.

Childcare centers are a better place for parents to send their preschool children to for a number of reasons. First, these centers have specialized facilities that few houses have, for example, playgrounds and educational facilities such as boards and projectors. This makes these centers a good place for children to play and to learn. Second, childcare centers have professional teachers and babysitters who have been trained in their respective majors and have better childcare skills than most parents. Finally, at childcare centers children can play and interact with their peers, which may boost their confidence and help them improve important social skills.

In conclusion, although at home preschool children can be cared for by the people who are closest to them, it seems to me that they should be sent to childcare centers to receive better care.

VOCABULARY

Blood is thicker than water: A saying which means “family relationships are stronger than any others”.
Facilities (plural noun): equipment that are provided for a particular purpose (thiết bị)
The school is upgrading its outdoor play facilities.
Playground (n): an outdoor area where children can play, especially at a school or in a park (sân chơi)
The school has a modern playground.
Babysitter (n): a person who takes care of babies or children while their parents are away from home and is usually paid to do this (người trông trẻ)
I can’t find a babysitter for tonight.
Respective (adj): belonging or relating separately to each of the people or things already mentioned (tương ứng)
They are each recognized specialists in their respective fields.
Childcare (n): the care of children, especially while parents are at work (sự chăm sóc trẻ em)
There are few childcare facilities for working parents in Vietnam.
Boost (v): make something increase, or become better or more successful (nâng cao)
The new service helped boost profits by 10%.
Social skills (n): kỹ năng xã hội
His social skills have improved over time.
