The chart delineates the quantity of US households categorized by their yearly income in three separate years: 2007, 2011, and 2015. Overall, the annual income of most households shared an increasing trend, with the highest growth marked in the number of households earning less than $25,000.

It can be seen that the number of households making $25,000 or less rose slightly from 25 to 29 million in 2011, which then saw a slight drop to around 28 million in 2015. That of households earning $25,000 – $50,000 was in a similar fashion, with the figures recorded at 27 million, 30 million, and 29 million in those three years respectively. Meanwhile,  the figures of those earning $50,000 – $75,000 remained unchanged at approximately 21 million over the given time frame.

In contrast, the two remaining categories shared the same tendency. As for those earning from $75,000 – $100,000, their number began at 14 million in 2007, went down to 13 million three years later, before growing to 2 million in 2015. The same was applied for those earning more than $100,000, whose number was 29 million, 28 million and 33 million, accordingly on the same timeline.
