Đề bài: The chart below shows the expenditure on three categories among different age groups of residents in the UK in 2004. Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

Overview:

• Under 45 chi nhiều cho restaurants and hotels hơn các nhóm tuổi khác.
•  46 trở lên chi nhiều vào food, drinks và entertainment.

Body 1: Under 45

• Food and drink: under 30 chi 6%, tức bằng nửa 31-45
• Restaurant and hotel và entertainment bằng nhau

Body 2: Over 45

• Chi ít nhất cho restaurants and hotels
• Entertainment: 61-75 chi 24%, tức gấp đôi 2 nhóm kia
• % chi cho food and drink khá cao

The given bar chart illustrates the percentage of money that people from five age brackets in the UK spent on three categories in 2004.

Overall, while people under 45 spent more on restaurants and hotels, the opposite is true for the three other age groups. Moreover, those older than 46 poured more money into food and drinks as well as entertainment.

As regards the youngest age group, they spent about 6% for eating and drinking, which was a half of that of the 31-45 one. It is obvious that restaurants and hotels and entertainment accounted for around 13% and 7% respectively of people under 45’s expenditure.

For the other groups, they spent the least on restaurants and hotels. In particular, the percentage of the 46-60-year-old citizens was around 12%, compared to 2% and 7% of that of the 61 to 75 and over 76 group respectively. Meanwhile, people from 61-75 years old spent about 24% of their money on entertainment, which was twice as high as that of two other groups. Moreover, the data for food and drinks of the three oldest age brackets were also relatively high with the respective figures at around 17%, 20% and 23%.
