Đề bài: It has been suggested that all young adults should be required to undertake a period of unpaid work helping people in the community. Would the drawbacks be greater than the benefits to the community and the young adults themselves?

OUTLINE

1/ INTRODUCTION: Sau khi paraphrase lại đề bài,thí sinh cần đưa ra một Thesis Statement (luận điểm) để trình bày quan điểm của cá nhân về vấn đề được đặt ra.

2/ BODY PARAGRAPH 1: 

Một mặt, việc người trẻ tham gia vào các công việc không được trả tiền sẽ phần nào làm ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến thu nhập cá nhân của họ và nguồn lao động chất lượng cao.

• Hạn chế thu nhập và chi tiêu của người trẻ dẫn đến những ảnh hưởng nghiêm trọng trong đời sống của họ.

• Các công ty thiếu đi nguồn nhân lực cần thiết, nhất là các công việc yêu cầu nguồn nhân lực được đào tạo bàn bản.

3/ BODY PARAGRAPH 2: 

Mặt khác, việc người trẻ tham gia vào các hoạt động tình nguyện trong xã hội đem lại nhiều mặt tích cực hơn những điều tiêu cực mà nó mang lại.

• Mở rộng mối quan hệ, vòng bạn bè của những người trẻ tuổi.

• Nâng cao khả năng làm việc nhóm, là hành trang tốt để chuẩn bị cho công việc tương lai của họ.

• Tạo điều kiện cho những người kém may mắn, gặp nhiều khó khăn trong cuộc sống có cuộc sống tốt đẹp hơn.

4/ CONCLUSION: Khẳng định lại quan điểm

Some people argued that voluntary work should be practised by the undergraduates because of the benefits it brings to themselves and society. Personally, I believe that the advantages of being a volunteer worker would outweigh the disadvantages.

On the one hand, when young people get involved in unpaid work, it negatively affects not only their personal financial status but also the number of the skilled labour force. To begin with, it is undoubtedly that joining voluntary work limits the expenditure of the youngster. If they do not maintain the minimum monthly income, it can cause a detrimental effect on their living standards including accommodation, food or daily commute. Moreover, companies and organizations could not obtain adequate professional employees due to the increase of people in unpaid positions. To be specific, a lack of qualified human resources can reduce the number of well-trained workers in essential fields such as medicine, technology, and pedagogy.

On the other hand, although there are drawbacks once young people take part in community work voluntarily, the benefits it provides would be definitely more significant. Firstly, regarding young adults, their social circles could be expanded thanks to making friends who are also volunteers and they could receive useful support when facing difficulties. Secondly, working with different kinds of individuals would probably enhance the teamwork skills of the young. It can be understood that they would have a good preparation for their future career. Finally, in terms of the benefit for the community, the young generation could improve the underqualified finance of the underprivileged by helping them without being paid. For instance, it would be helpful if young adults could renovate old houses or build bridges in rural areas to develop their life.

In conclusion, the young generation working voluntarily to help society could cause several disadvantages but the advantages it brings about are more outstanding.
