The table gives information about areas that British people, in terms of age and gender, believed the government should distribute more funding.
Overall, it is noticeable that while most women are in favour of having funds allocated to healthcare, the majority of men appear to prioritize education. Regarding age groups, the younger generations seem to support additional funding for education while the older generations tend to take health into consideration the most.
A closer look into the data reveals that more than half of British males support the idea of having more money provided for education, while only about one-third of them have a similar interest towards health. Nearly half of British females, on the other hand, think the authority should put a strong focus on health, whereas only 40% of them paid attention to education.
Regarding age, approximately half of British people within the older age range, namely 35-44, 44-54, and 55-64 age groups, focus on improving the health area. Meanwhile, an overwhelming 72% of elderlies understandably advocate for an increase in funding for health. On the contrary, the younger generations express further consideration towards education, respectively, 49% of young adults aged 18-24, and 52% of adults aged 25-34.
